This is a methadone clinic. The clinic, staff ie. management, counselors, nurses etc are GREAT!!! The head Dr. Dr. Perish, however is a vindictive, jerk. You can follow all the directions on the handbook to a T drop clean for ever and he will pick and choose who HE thinks should get their EARNED take home bottles!!! You actually have to go to the director or supervisor to get them and then the Dr. STILL goes back in the system and takes them out. I've lost my job and almost lost custody of my children due to this Drs animosity. As I said he has a hand full of clients he does this to then other clients they drop dirty for cocaine and or heroin and tell him their "dog died and their mother is sick" and he let him keep his take home bottles. I'm at my last straw, if I don't get this taken care of by the end of next week I have no choice but to call DASA and the state to let them know the unfair and prejudice practices that are taken place. I've been a client there for 5 years and up until about a year ago this Dr. Dr. Perish was a good Dr. If I what has gotten in to him but not only are us clients tired of his shenanigans so are his colleagues. I don't understand why he still even has a job there. Instead of trying to help people get their lives together he's causing some to fall apart.

The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because if you want to get clean you will. It really dont matter too much about how or where you do it. But the counselors are not the best they're is no privacy and it's not a good system. I literally had the doctor change my dose for me and he had me down as the wrong patient. I mean what if that person was on a way higher dose then me and I didn't notice. It just a mess. But that was about 5 years ago, I go to a clinic where I live in Waukegan now and have been sober for a little over 2 years now. August 20th 2015!!!!

Garfield Has An Nice Clean Environment. I've Been On PG, For Yrs An It Has Served It's Purpose. I've Ben Absent From All Altering Mind Mood Substance. For 12yrs Now. By God's Grace An The Help Of Focusing, An The Power/Will To Achieve A Better Life. For My Child An I, I Recommend Gfc. If U Need Treatment, The Program Works If U Work It, 12 Steps An Traditions. Not 13, Steps, Cuz U End Up Back Were U Started. Counselor's Are Fare, If I Was Rescued, From An Addiction. I Know U Can Be Too.. Thanks GFC
